Singer/songwriter/entertainer, Matt Quinton – affectionately known as “Matty Q” – spent most of the beginning of his career fronting the Philly party band, SPEED, before going solo in 2004. Not long after that he was recruited to play the famed IRISH KEVIN’S on Duval Street, in Key West, Florida, where he moved to, shortly after, and became a staple of the island music scene, entertaining tourists from all over the world, for well over a decade, and eventually playing every iconic bar in Key West, including a six-year-long weekend residency at SLOPPY JOE’S.

Matt, also, tours the mainland of Florida, frequently featured at such notable venues as The Elbo Room in Fort Lauderdale, The Flora-Bama in Pensacola, Tin Roof and Paddywagon Irish Pub in Orlando, The Flagler Tavern in New Smyrna Beach, and Hurricane Charley’s in Punta Gorda.

Matt has also traveled as far, and has been featured at Swingin’ Doors Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee, and Blarney Island “The Key West of the Midwest” in Antioch, Illinois.

Matt currently splits his time playing, live, in the Philadelphia, PA/South Jersey/Dewey Beach, DE region, working his way down the eastern seaboard, to just about anywhere in Florida, and writing in Nashville, Tennessee.

He released his first album, “Another Key West Night”, in November, 2015. The album is a collaborative effort with his friends, and songwriters Lucy Malia, Nick DiBlasio, Brian Bortnick, and Bryen O’boyle (Mr. Greengenes). Other respective co-writes include: Ken Alphin (aka “Big Kenny”, of Big N’ Rich), Kenny Chesney, and Lewis Brice.

“Another Key West Night” is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube, and all streaming services.
